I truly fell in love with yoga four years ago when my life was at a transitional point. Faced with some pretty serious life questions, I found that my yoga practice provided me with a safe place of solace and needed calm.
I knew that it was time to delve into the depth of self-exploration and trust that I would be guided along the way. Looking back it seems that my yoga mat had the (albeit sometimes uncomfortable) ability of taking me to places that I would never consciously decide to go.
With each practice I am given the opportunity to explore my own inner world, its intricate landscape with each fine line, deep crevices and the beauty that lies beneath.
Through the art of yoga’s all encompassing ability I am faced with physical challenges in practicing asana , this is turn forges new paths for self-acceptance and self-awareness on a mental level. It is through my practice that I have come to fully appreciate the bodies miraculous ability to adapt, change and perform some amazing achievements (no matter how big or small) and be really grateful for my bodies ability to move with ease and freedom from pain.
I am continually learning new things about myself and am so very grateful to be on this path of self-discovery through yoga.
I successfully completed the requirements and qualified as a 200 hour Yoga teacher in December 2016 after studying with Wenche Beard and Eva Kristlova at The Yoga Life Studio, Eastbourne. Since then, I have been teaching a broad variety of yoga classes within my home town of Eastbourne and consider myself to be very fortunate to be able to share my love of the practice with everyone that attends my classes.

My main goal of facilitating a class is that each and every person feels safe, cared for and nurtured, regardless of their physical ability, shape, size, ethnic background or belief.
My aim is to teach smarter yoga through functional and sustainable movement. I want to be able to help educate people to move better to find freedom in their bodies.
I believe that when we find physical freedom we create space in other areas of our life.
The type of yoga that I am very proud to teach is a movement oriented, core based yoga practise that emphasises correct alignment, intelligent sequencing and creative fun!
Sessions are a blend of slow flow that will love your body through a gentle nurturing mix of postures whilst combining a few more fiery, demanding postures.
I truly believe that it is through connecting to our core strength and stability that we find balance within our posture. As a result of finding this balance, our bodies will benefit greatly both on and off the mat.
This will help us to feel more aligned in all ways both physically, mentally and spiritually. And without a doubt impact not only ourselves but all beings around us.
All levels are more than welcome.
Each bespoke package is created with your own personal goals and outcomes in mind. Whatever your goals are, I am here to support you.
Packages give you an excellent opportunity to prioritise your self care and show up for yourself. I believe that having the support of someone that helps keep you accountable is a very effective way of creating positive change within your life. It helps build purpose through motivation and encouragement.
Of course you are very welcome to book individual hourly lessons if that suits your finances better. Whatever works for you.
There is also the option to mix and match your package and blend the two services of yoga and massage together.
Prior to each booking (regardless of whether you book a package or an individual class) I offer a one off 30 minute consultation which will give us the opportunity to discuss your personal needs. The fee for this consultation is £30.
After each consultation I will provide you with a suggested ‘movement plan’ suited to your individual needs.
Together we will find ways of helping you to move better to create more space and freedom within your body.
1 hour session: £45
5x sessions: £202.50 – 10% saving
10x sessions £382.50 – 15% saving
£40 for 30 minutes
My private yoga classes are perfect for those who may be new to yoga or find the prospect of attending a group setting a little intimidating.
Working on a 1-1 or 2-1 allows time to finely tune to your individual needs and requirements.
